BONNE ANNÉE 2011 / HAPPY NEW YEAR

Presque 6 mois se sont écoulés depuis mon dernier post. Mais ou donc est passé le temps? Je dois trouver la réponse à ça... J'ai donc décidé que mon mot pour 2011 serait le TEMPS.

Almost 6 months passed since my last post. Where did time go? I need to find the answer to that. I've decided that my word for 2011 will be TIME.

En attendant, tout ce que je peux dire c'est que la santé va bien, autant pour moi qu'Andre. Il a vraiment bien récupéré de son opération et on est bien contents. Plus de trace de la tumeur selon la dernière résonnance magnétique passée il y a 2 semaines. Cette fois, nous partons comme prévu pour la Floride le 7 janvier. Andre a changé sa moto (il en avait envie depuis un moment). On va pouvoir l'étrenner en vacances (voir photo ci-bas).

In the meantime, all I can say is that health is great for both me and Andre. He recuperated very well from the surgery and we are happy to say that there is no more trace of the tumor according to the last MRI passed 2 weeks ago. This time we are leaving for Florida on January 7th as planned. Andre changed his motorcycle (he wanted to do so for a little while). We will ride it for the first time on our vacation(see picture below).

Moi depuis le début de l'été (Andre lui a du attendre au mois d'aout a cause de son opération) nous dormons avec notre appareil CPAP. Nous souffrons d'apnée du sommeil. D'accord, ce n'est pas tres sexy, mais quelle différence ca fait dans nos vies. J'encourage les gens qui ont des doutes a aller faire le test.

Since the beginning of summer (Andre had to wait until he had his operation), we sleep with our CPAP machine because be both suffer from sleep apnea. I agree, it is not very sexy, but it made a big difference in our life. I encourage anyone with doubts to take the test.

Beaucoup de plaisir en septembre, d'abord, nous sommes allés en vacances a Outer Banks et puis ensuite au Festival Western de St-Tite...

A lot of pleasure in september, first we went vacationing at Outer Banks and then we went to the St-Tite western festival....

Ma belle-maman nous a quitté le 27 juin dernier et sa présence nous a bien manque a Noël cette année. Mais nous avons eu le plaisir d'être reçus chez Christian et Melanie dans leur nouvelle maison pour Noël.

My mother-in-law passed away on June 27 and her presence was greatly missed at Christmas this year. But we had the pleasure of beeing invited at Christian & Melanie's new house for Christmas.



Notre petit-fils Nathan a célébré ses 2 ans le 19 juillet et notre petite-fille a célébré ses 1 an le 2 novembre.

Our grandson celebrated his 2 years on July 19 and our granddaugther celebrated her 1 year old on November 2nd.

Puis notre Lucien a été impliqué dans un accident le 23 décembre. Heureusement, seulement des dommages matériels, mais quand même....

Our son Lucien was involved in an accident on December 23rd. Only material damages, but still....
Heureusement, la vie est belle..... Life is great!
